Freedom of the City of St Asaph
The City Council granted the freedom of the City of St Asaph to the Royal Welsh, with the first freedom parade taking place on the morning of Saturday 8th July 2023. Following inspection of the troops, the 1st Battalion were granted permission by the Mayor of St Asaph, Cllr Colin Hardie, to march through the streets of St Asaph with Colours flying, bayonets fixed and drums beating.
