Royal Maundy Service St Asaph Cathedral
The Mayor of St Asaph, Cllr Peter Scott and his consort, Mrs Elaine Morris, were delighted to be invited to attend the Royal Maundy Service in St Asaph on 2nd April. After the service at the Cathedral, at which the Maundy money was presented to 154 recipients, His Majesty met with onlookers on the High Street. The Mayor congratulated the Palace, the Cathedral, the Royal Protection Team and Denbighshire County Council on a job well done for organising the service and road closure. It was a memorable day for all who attended.
