St Asaph Christmas Lights Switch on
St Asaph City Council is delighted to announce that this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place at 4pm on Friday 27th November 2026, outside St Asaph Cathedral, immediately before the Cathedral’s Winter Fair. For the first time in recent years, the Mayor, Cllr Rosalind Williams, will be switching the lights on.
We are also hoping that, weather permitting, Father Christmas will make a very special appearance on the Cathedral tower! We are sure this will be a magical sight for our younger residents and a lovely way to begin the Christmas festivities in St Asaph.
Everyone is warmly invited to join us in the Cathedral grounds for the switch-on and, hopefully, to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas high above the city!
The Christmas Lights Switch-On is a lovely opportunity for our community to come together, and we hope this year’s event will help spread a little festive cheer as we look forward to Christmas.
Following the switch-on, families will also be able to enjoy the Cathedral’s Winter Fair, making it a wonderful start to the festive season.
